Frequently asked questions
Which rotations does Shiftpace support?
4-on-4-off, 2-2-3 (Pitman), DuPont, 5-2 and custom cycles. You can add several shift types with colours and times, including overnight shifts.
How do I record a swap, sick day or extra shift?
Open the date and add an exception: swap, sick, holiday, extra shift or skipped. Your rotation stays the same, and only that date changes.
How does calendar sync work?
Calendar sync is a Pro feature. When you turn it on, Shiftpace asks for full calendar access. You pick one calendar. Shiftpace creates, updates and removes its own shift events in that calendar, and detects edits to them. To share with family, choose a shared system calendar. Calendar data stays on your device. How accurate is the pay estimate?
It is an estimate only. It uses the rates you enter: base rate plus night, weekend, holiday and overtime differentials. It is not payroll or legal advice and does not apply country labour rules. Your employer's pay slip is the final word.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open Shiftpace, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID that made the purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name (Apple ID), tap Subscriptions, choose Shiftpace and tap Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge. A lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase and has nothing to cancel.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments and refunds. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
How do I delete my data?
Your schedule is stored on your device. Delete the app to remove it. To ask us to delete anonymous analytics data, see the Privacy Policy.
Can I move my data to a new iPhone?
Data lives on the device. A device backup restores it with the app. With Pro you can also export a JSON or CSV backup for your records.
